Dr Terrence Scamp
Dr Scamp is a graduate of the University of Queensland and undertook his internship at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. Two years after graduation he moved into surgical training and obtained experience in vascular, orthopaedic, neurosurgery and general surgery. He then commenced his specialised training in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery in 1986 at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and returned to Princess Alexandra Hospital in 1987 to undergo further training in this specialised field. In 1988, he commenced three and a half years of international training in Scotland, Bristol, Harley Street London, Belgium, Slovenia, Germany and USA and received specific training in a Cosmetic Fellowship from Europe’s leading Aesthetic Surgeon, Mr. Frederick V. Nicolle. Dr Scamp obtained his specialist qualifications as a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in the division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1990.
Dr Scamp was part of the investigative group for the registration of Restylane in Australia and subsequently has served as a trainer in injectables and as part of a specialist team on advisory boards in the use of botulinum toxin and Fillers. In 1991 he established Esteem Clinic, specialising in non-surgical anti-ageing techniques on the Gold Coast. Dr Scamp has served as a member of the advisory boards for Galderma and Allergan and is regularly invited to speak at non-surgical rejuvenation conferences. His philosophy is simple – to rejuvenate the face by exploring all means, combining both surgical and non-surgical options to achieve the optimal result.

Elizabeth Hele has been a Cosmetic Nurse Injector for Dr Scamp for the last 18 years, prior to that she worked in radiology as an injector for the Central Coast Radiology Group. Liz has 25 years experience in medical, surgical, cardiac and emergency nursing and is also a qualified cosmetic tattooist.
Liz has honed her skills in the Aesthetic field and attributes a lot of her knowledge to being able to work under the guidance of Dr Terrence Scamp. Being able to have access to his knowledge and experience as a worldwide trainer has been incredibly valuable to her development in this field. Liz also does all the post-surgical care for Dr Scamp in-clinic for his surgical clients, something she enjoys thoroughly and says “being able to be a part of the client’s journey and celebrating their results is the best part of this industry”.
Holding a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Liz is at the peak of her career and now wants to share these skills with upcoming injectors in the industry. She recognised the need for a training institute where the focus is on the science and anatomy of this rapidly growing industry. A place where aspiring injectors can be trained at the highest level, by some of the most qualified Doctors and Nurses in the field of Cosmetic Medicine and is very excited to be our Facilitator for Cosmetic Injectables, as well as our National Training Manager.
Liz has worked alongside Dr Scamp for 18 years and is very passionate about improving the industry with more experienced cosmetic injectors. Liz enjoys training new Nurses and Doctors with TEICA and improving industry standards.

Rachael has been a Cosmetic Nurse Injector since 2011. She completed her Bachelor of Nursing in 2001 and went to work in remote and regional hospitals in Northern Australia. After 10 years of general hospital and middle management nursing she began working with a Plastic Surgeon and commenced her cosmetic injectables career.
Rachael is passionate about being a part of the process that can help women and men feel so much better about themselves when they like what they see in the mirror. She works closely with each and every patient to develop personalised treatments for the results that they are trying to achieve. Above all else, patient safety and comfort is always a priority.
Rachael strongly believes in the importance of a strong educational foundation in this field of cosmetic injecting and that it can only lead to better and safer treatments being delivered to the most important of people, our patients. She finds it very rewarding to be able to share her experiences and knowledge and to be able to mentor up and coming cosmetic injectors.

Ashlea is a fully qualified Senior Laser and Dermal Therapist and has graduated from Queensland School of Beauty Therapy in Brisbane with her Advanced Diploma of Beauty Therapy and has studied many additional therapies and courses within the cosmetic field. With 9 years industry experience, her wealth and understanding of the skin from working in luxury day spas, alongside leading plastic and cosmetic surgeons to working with the latest, state of the art equipment and lasers within high end clinics, makes her a true asset as a trainer to TEICA. Her passion is to share her learned knowledge and be able to assist in helping students understand the fundamentals when it comes to correctly understanding and applying acids in chemical peels and reactions within the skin, and in depth training on all forms of skin needling and microdermabrasion treatments.
